John Eaton
John Eaton is a highly creative poet and song writer, previously a nurse and care home manager. He lives and works in Taunton, Somerset, UK. He started writing in the COVID lockdown as a means of staying sane, and keeping in touch with his granddaughter, Evaleigh. John has always had an affinity with the English language. Space and time created by the pandemic provided him with the opportunity to create. He is passionate about encouraging literacy and a love of the English language. His work is inspired by the people, punishment, pathos, and humorous proclamations encountered in his day job.
Thus far, John has also written and produced more than a dozen Spid the Spider books for children, and three accompanying albums, as well as many songs supporting the Ukrainian relief effort, including the album, Under Ukrainian Skies. The music was mostly composed by Pete Dymond, Dymond Studios. Listen to musical versions of John’s work on Soundcloud and on all good streaming services. He has also published five poetry books, variously packed with love, wit and wisdom. His latest anthology is Take That Smile Off Your Face – a collection of humorous verse, and a sixth, You Say the Strangest Things, publishes soon.
Kiri Eaton
Kiri Eaton is the creator of the ‘The Frograt.’ As a dedicated mother of two, Kiri drew inspiration from the magical stories she crafted for her children during their early years. Beyond the standard bedtime tales, Kiri, a proficient storyteller, decided to weave a whimsical narrative for young minds, resulting in the delightful world of ‘The Frograt.’
While her days are filled with managing a care home, Kiri effortlessly balances her professional responsibilities with the joyous chaos of family life. Known for her creative flair, she finds solace in costume and home design. A true artisan, Kiri’s talents extend to crafting intricate adult-sized Barbie doll outfits including adult-sized packaging. These transform any event into a magical experience.
Kiri’s thoughtful nature extends to every aspect of her life, from her nurturing role as a mother to her managerial duties. She also loves working on projects to breathe new life into old, neglected buildings, showcasing her dedication to transformation and revitalisation.
